The Tauremi Chronicles: "Well hello to you reader, it seems you have stumbled upon my book. I suppose it was careless of me to make it so easy for you to find. Then again, you wouldn't have found it unless you were meant to have it. So in the end, it really didn't matter where I put it." -- YU-QIANG [Black Tortoise] The Story of the Zodiac Children: Intro Summary: The VEI Universe is divided into five Cardinal Sectors: North, South, East, West and Center [known as Madeuan]. Madeuan is ruled by the Jade Emperor who made his home in Kyoto, Japan on the planet Earth. The four cardinal sectors are governed by his four children, the Shishen. The Northern Black Tortoise, the Southern Vermilion Bird, the Western White Tigress, and the Eastern Azure Dragon. Each of the Shishen watch over their respective sectors, though rarely do they interfere in the worlds. The true leaders are known as the Twelve; for twelve children are chosen from each of the sectors by the twelve [Chinese] Zodiac Signs and are joined with them. This Joining gives each of the chosen children different abilities and a lengthened life. When the child comes of age to rule, they are crowned by their kingdom and serve out their term for life. Tauremi's Chronicles: For centuries the Twelve have ruled the worlds, guided by the Shishen and under the watchful eye of the Jade Emperor, without any problems. However when the Stream, a life-force giving river where all spirits go to renew, begins to weaken, all the worlds feel the disturbance. The Twelve must find the source of the weakening and find a way to renew the Stream. However things become more complex when their counter Sun Twelve [Greek Zodiac], become involved. It seems the Sun Twelve know why the Stream is failing but all have lost their memories and connections with their signs, due to the Stream's weakening effecting the MadeuanSector first. It becomes up to the band of the Zodiac Twelve to discover the true identities of the Sun Twelve and find a way to restore their memories so that all the worlds might be saved. The Zodiac Children are my characters while the Sun Twelve belong to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} dezisms. This jounal is my side of the story and centers around the Zodiac Twelve and focuses on what is happening in the Four Cardinal Sectors while her story centers on the Sun Twelve and the effects on the Center Sector, referred to as Madeuan. We're just trying to flush the stories out on here, hopefully someday we'll really be able to make a series of books on these kids.Until then, feel free to read about them!
